Peekskill’s Open Studios, hosted by the Peekskill Arts Alliance is an annual event where local artists open their studios to the public and share their current work. This year it was held June 7th and 8th. The artists studios are all over Peekskill such as the Hat Factory, the Ford Piano Building and the Flat Iron Gallery. One setting that flipped the script where creators collaborated in a shared space, was the Lofts on Main featuring David Abrevaya, Eli Hernandez, Cheyenne Gaither, Jhoanna Dimapanat, Jack Hopkins, and Juliet Tierney. They took the gallery lobby and transformed it into a convention styled space, where each artist had their own table to showcase and sell their work.
